The long awaited Armour 55 has been unveiled and what an incredible craft it is.
Just a bit of a teaser for now, more pictures and spec will added to the site soon...
Ask Adam and Rex of Seaadex Boats how they spend their Tuesday mornings and the answer this week was playing host to Paul Burt “avid fisherman and tv presenter” and Gordon Triplett from “Garmin” to a morning on the water for some setting of crab traps and prawning.
When Adam was contacted by Paul to offer a boat for a segment for Creek to Coast, it comes as no surprise that the team at Seaadex would jump at the chance to show off their new range of boats to the market.
Setting out at 5am Tuesday morning in the RMP43 they first set out for prawns just out front of the channel entrance and also around Karagarh Island, then off to set some crab pots.
The RMP43 proved to be a great choice of boat and is perfectly suited to this style of boating. A purpose true plate boat constructed all out of 4mm aluminium, large casting deck and self-draining floor, makes for a good choice for River, estuary work and can also handle the Moreton Bay very well.
With a 60hp Mercury equipped with a big tiller extension handle, getting from one spot to the next is made quick and easy.
All on board were very impressed with the storage available, the ride in the swell (making for a smooth ride no tinnie slap) and all impressed by the stability with plenty of freeboard even with over 200kg in weight on one side.
The boats coming to the market from the Seaadex team have had a lot of thought put into them to bring a custom design, they offer a base model for you to add the extras to suit your needs.
The Sea Adex boat range has been designed for fisherman and families alike, with a versatile, hard edge, modern design. There are three models that come in our level flotation range called - The Armour Range. These true battleship inspired boats come in a versatile range of 4.5mtr, 5.5mtrs and 6.5 mtrs. Available in Centre/Side console, cuddy cab or a full hard top. Designed to get you home safe and sound every time, the ranges backbone is its truly amazing 23* constant deadrise., which just eats up everything that is thrown at it.
Having been designed by a well respected Naval Architect, all our Armour range of craft meet the new level flotation requirements. Having been designed for survey work and constructed to this code, you too can enjoy the piece of mind that comes from knowing that you are getting a design and build, that is built to last and is incredible value for money.
Adding to the range, Sea Adex is also very proud to be one of the first to present a true V Nose plate punt, but with a twist - the RMP Series. Available in two sizes, 4.3 and 5.3, these are not your average VNP, with full length girders and bulkheads, again can be used for survey work, these boats are built tough. All hull plates, side sheets, girders, bulkheads, deck plates etc are 4mm 5083 and come with a fully sealed self draining deck. These boats can be, like our Armour range fully configured to different layouts to suit the client.
At this years show, we will be displaying our RMP 43 demonstrator boat equipped with a Mercury 60HP Big Tiller in its basic form. One of the best things about dealing directly with the owner, none of your options that you require get lost in translation. The RMP range can come basically with anything you would like in it, underfloor storage, underfloor tank, kill tanks, live bait tanks, speargun racks, tiller steer, side console or centre consoles. Also unlike other VNP models that are made out of lighter materials, this hull design is just as happy in the messy, choppy waters that is Moreton bay, as it is our estuaries.
Also on show for the first time is our purpose built demonstrator centre console Armour 45 boat, which is fully loaded! With a hard top over the centre console 100 trs of fuel, 60 litres of fresh water ( and shower head ) 60 litres of area in the live bait well, saltwater deck wash, stereo, VHF, 27M radios, kill tank, the latest 100HP Mercury with vessel view 7 engine monitoring and with still room for more. This is the first time this range of boat has been presented to the market, with another demonstrator model - Armour 55 Hardtop being 80% completed, and with plans being finalised now for 6.5mtr to be produced soon - these boats will truly amaze their owners.
Sea Adex prides itself in total customisation for what ever the client requires, we don't even put rod holders in until you tell us exactly where you would like them. We go to that much detail, because every client we have is different and so "their" boat is made around them. At Sea Adex, your not speaking to a salesperson to sell you something, here, you are speaking directly with the owners of the business, who love boating and fishing, and know exactly what it's like to get caught up in a freak storm blowing 30-40, just like you!
With a new show and two new truly unique boats to show, we will also be offering one off show specials - less 10% of our RRP - Plus a free car topper Tinnie or an inflatable to the first five boats ordered.
So please come and visit us at stand 315 and see why, strength matters and performance counts!
